About ApplianceGuide

ApplianceGuide is an independent owner-manual reference for the major home appliances people actually buy. We currently cover 536 models across washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, and HVAC equipment from the leading North American and European manufacturers.

Why this site exists

Printed appliance manuals get lost, manufacturer support sites change layouts and break links every few years, and the model-specific PDFs are usually buried behind serial-number lookups. Our goal is simpler: one consistent page per model, written in the same structure every time, so you can predict where to look. Every model page opens with installation guidance, walks through day-to-day operation, lists the maintenance items that matter, and closes with the troubleshooting flows that resolve most homeowner support calls without a service visit.

The catalog is organized so you can navigate it three ways: by appliance category if you know what kind of unit you have, by brand if you have multiple appliances from the same manufacturer, or by direct search if you have a model number in hand. Every page links into the others, so you should never hit a dead end while exploring.

Editorial scope

ApplianceGuide is not affiliated with any of the appliance manufacturers we cover. Brand names, model numbers, and feature names are used to identify products and remain the property of their respective owners. The reference content on each model page is general homeowner-oriented guidance derived from common practice across the category and the appliance's published feature set; for binding electrical, gas, plumbing, or warranty information always consult the printed manual that shipped with your appliance and the rating plate attached to the unit.
